Pizza Dip

I recently was asked to start bringing snacks once a month to card night at a friends house. Being I am on a low carb diet, I usually don’t partake in the snacks, let alone make snacks to bring for others to enjoy. This week I made pizza dip. It turned out amazing. Everyone loved it!

Kung Pao Cauliflower

This week I tried this Kung Pao Cauliflower. I added veggie chicken meat for mine and real chicken in my husbands. To decrease the carbs I didn’t use any noodles. I also replaced the sugar with Stevia and the corn starch with Gaur Gum. It turned out amazing!!

Spinach Casserole

If you want a quick and easy lunch or dinner. Try this Spinach Artichoke Egg Casserole. I added veggie chicken meal starters to it and it turned out perfect. For those who are not vegetarian try putting cooked chopped chicken in it before baking.

Creamy Caprese Cauliflower Casserole

I have discovered that finding new recipes to try that are diet friendly is exciting. Maintaining a healthy diet on top of taking my three step system every day is ensuring that I see weight loss results.

On Sunday I decided to cook this amazing Caprese Cauliflower Casserole and it turned out amazing. To add additional protein I added some vegetarian griller crumbles from morning star. This recipe would also be delicious if you put chicken breasts in the bottom of the casserole dish before adding the casserole ingredients on top.

I want to take a moment and wish all of you a wonderful 4th of July. As many of you may know, it can be difficult to follow a healthy lifestyle during holiday celebrations. I know all to well that keeping it strictly healthy on the holidays is almost impossible. My suggestion would be to just focus on dishes that you love at your BBQs and focus on making it healthier. For instance, I usually see Potato Salad at every family BBQ, this Loaded Cauliflower Mac N’ Cheese would be a great addition or replacement of your carb loaded potato salad. Enjoy! “My name is Christyna Marshall and this is my first time sharing my Thrive Experience!

Rewinding back to February 2017 I was feeling helpless, defeated, and all together exhausted. Mom guilt was in overload and I just couldn’t see myself out of it. I am a Full Time working mom who woke up never feeling fully rested. After working a full day and grabbing the kids, I would come home and lay on the couch, going to bed right after the kids did, barely getting the day to day chores done. Coffee in the morning, coffee in the afternoon. Soda, green tea with caffeine, energy sprays and lotions.. ANYTHING I could do to feel more awake. Then my children started to notice, “Mommy, my dream for you would be that you could nap everyday so you wouldn’t be so tired”. Hearing this from my daughter broke my heart. How could I do this to them? This isn’t the life I wanted for myself either. I was stuck though and didn’t know where to go or what to do. I was dealing with general aches and discomforts that were affecting my overall quality of life. I started to wonder.. is this what 36 is?

One day I saw my friend post a picture of her DFT and hash tagged energized. And that got me! What is this she has and how do I get this energy?! I NEED to feel energized!! I had never heard of the Thrive Experience before which actually made it that more exciting to me, I had to try it! No hesitation here. After years and years of trying every diet, every fad, every vitamin, energy supplement I could, with no results.. I was (once again) ready to try something new.

From Day 1 I started to notice subtle changes.. every day a little more. By Day 10 I felt ALIVE again. It was pretty surreal.

I am not going to mince words, I hate leg day. I literally feel like I am dying after leg day. I’ve got bruises up and down my legs and my feet are killing me but every day that I force myself to do leg day I KNOW that I am getting stronger. If you want a killer routine that gets you the results you want with your legs pick your own weight limit and then try this break down. It’s a difficult but worthwhile workout.

Barbell squats – 4 sets, 8-12 reps

Walking dumbbell lunges – 4 sets, 8-12 reps

Stiff Leg barbell deadlifts – 4 sets, 8-12 reps

DB reverse lunges – 4 sets, 8-12 reps

Hamstring Curls – 4 sets, 8-12 reps

Body weight standing calf raises – 4 sets, 8-12 reps

Recipe – Healthy Eating

Most of the time diets are not fun! I have found many recipes that I love and coupled with proper exercise and a healthy Vitamin Supplement I am feeling amazing. Today I tried a vegetarian version of KETO Chicken Taquitos and they are amazing. For those who are vegetarian just substitute chicken with the meal starter veggie chicken from Morning Star. They are NOT KETO but they are low carb and delicious.
